Southwest Airlines has a new game out called the 30 Million Point Giveaway, in which you can get up to 100 free Rapid Rewards points per week for answering trivia questions and playing online games. The first week is over, but if you play the remaining five weeks, you can get 500 points, which is almost equal to $10 off a Southwest Wanna Get Away fare. You only get one chance at each answer to the questions, so if you need a cheat sheet, check out this post on MyMoneyBlog (my favorite personal finance blog).
New members to Southwests Rapid Rewards (their frequent flyer program) also get 250 points for signing up, and Rapid Rewards members can get 500 points for signing up for e-mail newsletters.
Southwest is one of my favorite airlines, not only because of their very reasonable fares but because they are one of the last few airlines that gives you free bags when you fly (as all airlines should).
