UPDATE 8/16/11:  There is another new tshirt code out there:  "TSHIRT" that will give you the same choice of schools as the FOOTBALL code.  Remember, you don't need to add six more cap codes to use additional tshirt codes.

You may recall this post back here, where I talked about My Coke Rewards, one of my favorite free rewards programs.  If you haven't joined yet, now might be a good time, since most people drink a lot of cold soda in the summertime, and the MCR points accumulate very quickly.  It's a free program...all you need to do to participate is enter codes from bottles or boxes of Coke products to redeem for more free soda, gift cards, etc.  Our favorite rewards are definitely the free 20 oz. Coke certificates, since they give you the most bang for your buck in terms of point redemption, as well another cap code to enter.  My husband and I have cashed in close to 230 free-Coke certificates from this program over the last three years.

If you'd like to sign up for an account, shoot me an email with the email address you'll be using for the account and I'll send you a referral invitation.  When I refer you, you get an extra fifty points for signing up (which is already more than enough for a free 20 oz. Coke product) and I'll get 10 points (thanks!).

My Coke Rewards is now running a fantastic promotion, where you can get up to four free NCAA tshirts per MCR account, when you enter six codes from Coke product caps (it must be the caps, not the codes from the boxes).  You simply enter 6 of the cap codes, get your regular points and then enter 2 out of these three special codes:  FOOTBALL, MYTEAM, TOUCHDOWN.  I've listed below your tshirt choices for each code.  If you've already entered 6 cap codes in the month of August so far, you just need to enter the special codes, nothing more.  MCR does not charge you any points to get the tshirts, and you can get up to 4 tshirts per MCR account.  My husband and I each have an account, so we scored 8 NCAA tshirts for doing basically nothing different.

Here are the special codes and what your tshirt selection will be when you enter them (after you've entered the 6 cap codes).  Please note that these cap codes can be from either 20 oz., 1 liter or 2 liter bottles.

• FOOTBALL:  Get a free NCAA College T-shirt from 1 of 19 teams with the purchase of six 20oz bottles of any product of The Coca-Cola Company.
• MYTEAM: Get a free NCAA College T-shirt from 1 of 31 teams with the purchase of six 20oz bottles of any product of The Coca-Cola Company.
• TOUCHDOWN: Get a FREE College T-Shirt when you purchase any combination of (6) 20oz or 1 Liter bottles of Sparkling Coca-Cola products. Simply enter your (6) codes and the word "TOUCHDOWN" here to choose from one of these 10 football teams: Colorado State, Boise State, U of Washington, Idaho State, U of Utah, Utah State, Washington State, Weber State, U of Montana or Portland State.
