A friend of mine just got these, and told me about a great project she did with her kids. She glued a frog on to a length of grosgrain ribbon to make perfect seder napkin rings! After the glue dries, just tie the ribbon around a rolled up dinner-sized napkin and voila, Froggie Napkin Rings!
These deals make me pine for Amazon Prime. I'm curious--have you written a post about your decision whether or not to get Prime? If not, would you consider it?
ReplyDeleteWe were on Amazon Student last year (my husband was in graduate school) and so we got our free year of Prime. When the year was up, we were offered Prime at half-price ($39) and we took it. It has paid for itself many times over. I think if you are doing Swagbucks and therefore are more likely to buy stuff on Amazon using your Swagbuck reward gift cards, it's well worth it. Another thing you might consider is going in with a sibling or another family that you trust and sharing the account.
ReplyDeleteI think it might be worth it for the videos (if we give up netflix, which we barely use anyway). Maybe I'll save up enough swagbucks gift cards to pay for prime. That will only take three months if I'm very, very disciplined!
ReplyDeleteCaroline, I might be wrong about this, but I don't think you can use gift cards to pay for Prime. We tried and it didn't give us that option.
ReplyDeleteSusie's right - you can't use credits to buy Prime :( Or to buy gift cards. BTW.
ReplyDeleteWell... hmmm... then I will need to think about it more. Or maybe I'll save swagbucks for paypal credits and turn that cash into Prime. My sister is doing that and should have enough saved for an iphone when she is eligible for a new phone next week!
ReplyDeleteI just don't want to put out $79...
