Also, some of you have asked about replacement toner cartridges and how much they cost.  Just doing a quick perusal on Amazon, I found the Cyan cartridge for $30+$5.99 shipping,  and a search shows the other cartridges for about $30-$45 (make sure you click through ALL the seller options for new cartridges for the best prices).     If you figure that you get 1,500 pages per bxw cartridge and 1,000 pages per color cartridge set, well, you do the math and compare it to the output that you're getting on your color inkjet and how much you're paying for printer ink.

We went over to a bxw laser about six years ago and never looked back.  We save a small fortune on printer ink.  Laser cartridges generally run about $40-50 each and you can get 1,000-1,500 prints off of one.  Compare that to what you spend on ink and the longevity of each ink cartridge.  But laser printers were always so prohibitively expensive, especially the color versions, and double especially the wireless ones.  I have never seen a new, brand-name, wireless, color laser printer at this price.
