Amazon has got this set of 8 Libbey 6 1/2 oz. glass bowls with plastic lids for $14.97 with free Prime or SuperSaver shipping.  I can think of about a zillion uses for these little 6 1/2 oz. glass bowls:  leftovers, storage of dry goods, spices, and condiments, portioning, prep bowls for cooking and baking etc.  Glass is dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe. (Plastic lids are not dishwasher and microwave safe:  they should be hand washed and not be put in the microwave.)

This set got 4 1/2 stars out of 5 over 54 customer reviews.  At less than two bucks per bowl, this price is a steal.
