ShopRunner members: extend your account by 3 months with ShopRunner Central

Did you sign up for one of the numerous free or $1 ShopRunner annual memberships this past year?  Here's a way to extend your year-long membership by 90 days.

  1. Log into your Shoprunner account.  On the left-hand side, you'll see a heading called "ShopRunner Central." Underneath that, it will say "Manage Accounts."  Click on "Manage Accounts."
  2. Now you have to enable ShopRunner Central. What does ShopRunner Central do?  It brings all your receipts together in one convenient location, organizes your open and delivered orders, and alerts you to shipping dates and package deliveries. It's a totally free service that you enable with your Gmail or Yahoo email address. If you don't have either one of those, set one up. They are free. (I strongly, strongly prefer Gmail over Yahoo; everyone I know with a Yahoo email address has been hacked at one time or another.)  Click on the Gmail or Yahoo button.
  3. Give them permission to access your address. If you have any sales receipts in that account, they will appear shortly.   If you're nervous about giving them access to the account, create a new Gmail account just for this.
  4. That's it. My account was set to expire in December, and now it won't expire until March. Easy, free, 90 day extension.

When you do this you give them access to all your e-mails and contacts.

  3. Anonymous, you can 1) revoke that access after you get the 3 free months (in your Gmail settings) or 2) create a special "junk" Gmail account just for offers like this. Either one protects your privacy.
