This is a complete deviation from my typical posts and I hope you'll forgive my stepping away from our usual conversation for a moment. I feel that it's important and empowering to get involved politically and to have a voice in the election of our country's leaders. Politics really does affect every segment of our lives, particularly the financial one, from the price of peanut butter to the amount of money that you earn that will go to taxes. Get involved! Work towards electing the leadership in which you believe, speak up regarding the issues that are important to you, volunteer in any way you can and, most importantly, vote!
