I gotta tell ya, I was a little bit nervous that Amazon's Black Friday deals wouldn't be that good, after the letdown of "Prime Day."  I'm a skeptic.

I'm happy to say, so far,  I was wrong.

I learned value of vacuum-packing this summer, when Joshua and I vacationed in Alaska for three weeks.  Whatever food we brought with us that was vacuum-packed stayed good for about 10 days longer than the stuff that wasn't vacuum-packed.  Seriously. I ended up throwing out a bunch of food that I had just put in ziplocks, hoping that refrigeration would be enough to keep it good, but it spoiled on me, and I hate wasting food and money like that.
