This is definitely one of those off-the-beaten-track deals, but on such a practical item!  Amazon has got this Scotch Heavy Duty Clear Shipping Packaging Tape in a red dispenser, 1.88" x 800" for only $2.00 with free shipping (no Amazon Prime membership required; this is NOT an add-on item).   This tape got 4.5 out of 5 stars over 745 customer reviews.

I've never seen it priced this low in any store or online.  We use this for numerous things, so I stocked up and bought another 10 of these (that's the maximum limit per account).  I usually never splurge on the "heavy duty" packing tape, as it's typically priced at over $5 a roll, but at $2.00 per roll with free shipping, I'll splurge away.
