JET.COM: now with free memberships, quantity discounts, and 20% off your first order. (Entemann's k-cups for 44 cents each.)

UPDATE:  I've gotten a few emails from readers who say they are having trouble with promo code SAVE20. I've got two more valid promo codes for you to try if that one doesn't work for you:  SCARYMOMMY2016 (20% off) and SHOP15 (15% off)
.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Have you shopped at Jet.com yet?

You might remember Jet.com from their offers from last year for discounts on their $50 membership fee to their shopping site.  Well, they've since abandoned that whole program and membership to Jet.com is now free for everyone.

They have an interesting pricing model. If you buy one item, you pay full price, but as you add more items to your cart, the pricing drops. The more items you add, the more the price drops.

I've also got a great promo code that allows you to take 20% off your first order at Jet.com: SAVE20.  Shipping is free with a $35 order, BUT, I found that when I actually shopped, I got free shipping with no minimum at all (YMMV).

In addition to the usual fare, they've got some interesting items that I haven't seen elsewhere.  I found these 20-count Entemann's flavored coffee k-cups priced at $11.90 on Jet (kosher pareve, OU hashgacha). The few websites that I have seen these k-cups had them for outrageously high prices, between 75 cents to a dollar or more per k-cup. The flavors looked absolutely delicious, so I went to town and ordered these four flavors:

The total on this for the 80 k-cups was $47.60, which worked out to 60 cents per k-cup, which is WAY more than my target price for k-cups, 50 cents each max. But as I added each box of k-cups to my order, the price dropped, until it was down by $3.24 to $44.36 (55 cents per k-cup, still too high, but headed in the right direction).  Then I applied promo code SAVE20 to my order and the price dropped by $8.88 to $35.48 (44 cents per k-cup, now we're talking).

Click here to sign up for Jet membership and as you would do in any new store, look around.  Don't forget to enter promo code SAVE20 to deduct 20% off your first order.
