Ortega has got a coupon for $1 off of any two Ortega products. Currently, the Ortega taco seasoning packets are going for $0.99 at both Target and Walmart (YMMV). With this coupon, you can get two of the items for $0.98, which is like a buy-one-get-one-free deal.
(Occasionally the boxes of Ortega taco shells go on sale for $1 as well, but you've got to watch for that.)
I use the taco seasoning packets in soups...gives them a nice little kick without being overly spicy. Kosher-keeping DailyCheapskate readers might want to know that Ortega seasoning packets and taco shells are OK certified and pareve.
