Making your life easier and more organized: UPS My Choice

I signed up for UPS My Choice before Chanukah this year, not knowing what a valuable tool it would be and how it would make my life a little easier. Now I don't know what I would do without it.  I think it's a great utility for all frugal online shoppers.

As a careful shopper, I take advantage of quite a few online deals, many of which use UPS for their delivery service. It's nearly impossible to keep track of when things will be arriving, if I'll be home for the packages that require signatures, if valuable things will arrive when I'm out of town, etc. UPS My Choice lets you know in advance  (via email, voice or text message) when packages addressed to you will be arriving and where they are coming from. It also lets you delay arrival if you so choose, re-route packages to a neighbor's house, tell you which packages will require a signature etc. If you've ever had a delivery kerfuffle on an important item, you know how important it can be to have a handle on delivery times, dates, locations, and security options.

Joining UPS My Choice is free.  If you shop online frequently, receive shipments for work, get regular deliveries of medical or infant items, or just receive plain-old packages from Amazon every now and then,  UPS My Choice is simply invaluable.  Sign up for it here.

  1. occasionally, UPS My Choice has a sign-up special offer through swagbucks so that you can get a little kickback from them, too!
