I know many people love the anodized pots because of their uber-practical non-stick surfaces, but I'm a huge fan of stainless steel because 1) they look incredible and shiny, even after years of use (I keep my Calphalon stainless steel set out on a pot rack) and 2) they go right into the dishwasher, whereas the anodized pots generally need to be handwashed.
