Free month of Hulu Plus with Scott Shared Values

If you've been reading Daily Cheapskate for a while, you know how I love good rewards programs, where you can earn rewards and perks quickly, like Swagbucks or RecycleBank.

Scott Shared Values is one of those low-effort, high-reward programs that is well worth the 30-second sign up.  Last quarter, they offered a free $5 Amazon MP3 credit to all their members and three free Blockbuster rentals.  This month, they've got a new rewards offer:

Join Scott Shared Values and get one month of Hulu Plus for free.  (If you join Hulu Plus through the Hulu website, you will only get one week for free, so this is a pretty nice offer.)  Limit one offer per person. You will need to create a Hulu account and provide a valid credit card. After your free trial expires,  you can cancel your subscription and you won't be charged a dime (make sure you set a Google calendar reminder to cancel).  If you decide to keep it, your subscription will automatically continue at the monthly rate of $7.99 plus applicable tax.  You are not locked in to the service; you can cancel the service any time.  

The other new reward on Scott Shared Values is a free MP3 song download of Between the Lines by Breakaway Heart. (It's a great song...you might have heard it on the commercial.)

Here's the scoop on some of the older rewards they've still got going on:

• unique coupon offers on Scott Bath Tissue or Scott Paper Towels

• You'll also get a Scott Free Admission Family Fun Pass voucher which entitles you to free admission to a local attraction, such as miniature golf, go-carting, bowling, zoos, museums and many more. Vouchers expire 90 days from the time of receipt.
