...It really is a beautiful bowl. The 'blue' varies - deeper towards the bottom, and less up top - so when the sun hits it, it's just what you would expect. Since it is clearly hand-blown glass, some of the curves on top are thinner than others. Still, it's quite strong and sturdy. The bottom is flat, so it sits nicely on the table. Can't beat it for the price and you can't go wrong with a deep cobalt blue!...
...I absolutely love it. It does look much more expensive than it is and will be forever cherished. In my opinion, the size is more than sufficient for fruit or, even used as a centerpiece with candle (a very large candle) with trim. It made me do a happy jig. I'll treasure it...
