AmazonBasics is a private label electronics line developed by Amazon back in 2009. Amazon's goal in creating this new line was too "give customers the ultimate in selection and value," (from their introductory press release).
AmazonBasics items 1) are all covered by an AmazonBasics one-year warranty 2) come in frustration-free packaging 3) are all available with Prime/SuperSaver shipping only. What I've also noticed about these items are the excellent customer ratings and reviews and the value pricing. But they're not "cheap" items; they're well made but without frills. For example, their iPhone cables are all Apple certified so they don't die after a month like the cheap cables that I've gotten in the past from overseas companies; but they are still very well priced. I've actually ordered a few AmazonBasic items and I'm impressed. I haven't seen a single AmazonBasics item with an average customer rating of less than 4 out of 5 stars, and most average ratings that I've seen are higher than 4.3.
If you're interested in good-quality, no-frills, value-priced tech items, have a look at AmazonBasics. Here are some of the ones that jumped out at me:
AmazonBasics On-Ear Headphones, $14.99 with free Prime/SuperSaver shipping, 4.4 out of 5 stars over 305 customer reviews.
- On-ear fit to minimize noise so you can hear every beat
- Designed with portability and storage in mind; the headphones rotate in to lay flat
- 101 decibles (dB) and 1000mW maximum input level
- Frequency range of 12 Hz-22,000 Hz for great sound reproduction
- 47.25-inch (1.2 meter) cord with L-shaped stereo mini plug to connect to your phone, MP3 player, or computer
Are these the best headphones I have or have used? not by a long shot, BUT this is an audiophile household, no bones about it. My husband is a recording musician and sound engineer, and I have spent a dozen or so years in radio and concert promotion. We have a upwards of a dozen sets of headphones, studio monitors, high end phones by Grado, Sennheiser, AKG. We're fussy to say the least. We also have some lesser sets for travel, yard work, walking the dog in the rain ;) These blow away just about everything at twice the price. No, they do not compete with $300 headphones, but at $14 and change they do not need to.

I ended up purchasing this keyboard because I liked the sleek design, and the overall positive feedback for it. I have to say, for $12, this keyboard is quite a bargain. The keys are extremely responsive, I can type a lot faster on here than on any other keyboard I've ever tried. It also works perfectly right out of the box with my copy of windows 8.1. I also really like the fact that there are shortcut keys for my Computer, calculator, and windows media player. Overall, I'd recommend this keyboard to anyone, regardless of whether you're on a budget or just looking for a very high quality keyboard.
AmazonBasics 15.6-Inch Laptop and Tablet Bag, $14.99 with free Prime/SuperSaver shipping, 4.7 out of 5 stars over 2,683 customer reviews.

AmazonBasics actually makes a bag (4 sizes), sleeve (7 sizes) and backpack (5 sizes) for virtually every type of laptop, tablet and hybrid, and they are all VERY value priced. I'm not going to quote any reviews here because, frankly, they were all very detailed and precise and loooonnnnggg, but you should definitely scan them before making your purchase. The upshot is that these bags/sleeves/backpacks are extremely well-made.
