UPDATE: Thanks to reader Sompo1126, I just discovered that you won't receive the $5 credit if you use Subscribe & Save. So keeping the price at the regular $9.97, minus the $0.75 coupon, the total starts out at $9.22, or $0.46 per battery. After the $5 credit is factored in, the price drops to $4.22 or $0.21 per battery. Still a great deal. Thank you Sompo for speaking to an Amazon rep and clarifying this! If you already purchased the Subscribe & Save deal, cancel the order (it is easily canceled within a few hours) and repurchase. My apologies.

Amazon Prime members get a $5 credit on your next purchase when you buy Duracell batteries. The details are here. If you're not an Amazon Prime member, you can start a one-month free trial, risk free.
There are some nice Amazon deals on Duracell batteries currently going on:
Get a 20-pack of AA Duracell Coppertop batteries or a 20-pack of AAA Duracell Coppertop batteries for $8.47 with the Subscribe & Save option (remember, you can cancel Subscribe and Save at any time after placing the order). And make sure you "clip" the $0.75 coupon that's on the page to lower your price to $7.72. That comes to $0.39 per battery. When you factor in the $5 credit on your next purchase, the cost drops to $2.72 or just $0.14 per battery. That's a great deal.
