I know that some shoppers hesitate to buy toys at dollar stores because they are cautious about quality. Dollar stores used to be notorious for stocking inferior, less-than-safe knock-off toys from China. Times have changed though. Family Dollar is reputable chain of dollar stores that carries many quality brand name items, including toys.
Family Dollar has got some of the exact same toys that Target and Walmart carry, including Fisher-Price, Mattel and Disney items. They have a ton of brand name toys priced at $5 and $10, and are definitely worth a first look. Check out a couple of sample price comparisons:
Disney Plush assortment, $14.99 at Target, $5 at Family Dollar.
Disney Ride On with Sound, $34.99 at Target, $25 at Family Dollar.
When good toy coupons come out, like these or these, you can use them at Family Dollar on top of their great prices. Family Dollar accepts both manufacturer and their own store coupons. Check out the $5 off $25 coupon on Disney items at Family Dollar here.
