Nordstrom has got these very clever gloves by Polo Ralph Lauren on clearance at $14.97 (they were originally $40.00) with free shipping. They're made of soft merino wool and even though they are made for men, frankly, I think they would look fine on a woman.
Wear them one way, and they're fingerless gloves (great for driving or texting).
