Ikea Foodsaver Set (17 storage containers plus lids) for $11.27 on Amazon

Amazon has got this set of Ikea Foodsavers (17 storage containers plus lids) for $11.27 with free Prime/SuperSaver shipping.  These are BPA-free, microwave-safe (up to 200°F), freezer-safe, and dishwasher-safe.  This set got 4 out of 5 stars over 90 customer reviews.

Once a year, usually before Pesach, I triage through all of my tupperware and freecycle or toss 95% of it (warped from the dishwasher, no lid, cracked lid, milchig/fleishig status uncertain, old, inconvenient size, what-was-I-thinking,  retaining food smell, etc.).  I've always loved Ikea kitchenware and found it to be high-quality at very low prices.  What I really love about this set, besides the price, is how stackable it is when not in use (check out the photo below) and what a small footprint it will have in my overcrowded kitchen cabinet.   My kitchen seems to grow smaller each year.

Now, if you've got an Ikea in your neighborhood and are going there anyway, I recommend that you purchase these there, because this set costs $4.79 in-store.  I'm still going to buy this online through Amazon, even though I live about 35 minutes from an Ikea, because I'm not sure when I'll be able to go next, and the $6.48 difference  is not worth the time and I will probably end up spending that on gas roundtrip anyway.  But I did want to make you aware of that option.
