This slow cooker got 4.6 out of 5 stars over 487 customer reviews.  (Make sure you select the black and white pattern to get the $12.88 price; the other colors are $16.88.)  It's also got a special lid-latch for traveling, so this will transport easily for traveling, whether it's to a bungalow colony, a summer road-trip, or a pot luck Shabbos (nothing like a chulent on wheels).
