See this? This is a picture of my old iPhone3S. Needless to say, I did not get an Otterbox for my old iPhone. This was the third time the screen shattered (I had the first two replaced, and almost replaced the third, until I finally summoned up some brain cells and asked myself what I thought I was doing.) I finally upgraded to a new model, and then I reluctantly bought my new iPhone 5S an Otterbox Defender case from Tanga for $9.98, all the time wondering if I was just wasting my money on junk.
I must admit, I'm now completely sold on Otterboxes. Those things take a nasty beating and come out swinging. I've dropped my iPhone 5S on concrete, dunked it in a sink, spilled coffee on it, etc., and it's still as pristine as the day I bought it.
But I thought that $9.98 deal was long gone. Otterboxes for iPhones are generally going for a lot more than that these days.
Guess what? That deal is back.
Can't beat that deal with a stick. Though if you put it in an Otterbox, you're welcome to try.
