Six month subscription to Wired magazine PLUS a $5.00 Amazon credit, all for $6.00: it's like paying a dollar for the subscription (17 cents per issue)

Amazon has an interesting offer on a six-month subscription to Wired magazine, both the print and the digital version:  $6.00 and you get a $5.00 Amazon credit included in the deal, so basically, the subscription ends up costing you net $1.00!

It's a half-year subscription, 6 months, 6 issues, 17 cents per issue.  

It does auto-renew, so here's what you do to fix that:  under your Amazon account, click on the Manage Magazine Subscriptions link, find Wired and deselect the auto-renewal option.  Voila, no more auto-renewal.
