If Maxwell House is the brand of coffee that you normally buy, you're in for some great pricing this month on Amazon.
First, just a tip for stocking up on coffee, and this applies to whether it's fresh, ground, instant, k-cups or what-have-you: put it in the freezer. Keeping it in the freezer helps it retain its taste, helps keep moisture out, and prevents it from getting that awful, cardboard-y stale taste that coffee kept in the pantry for too long sometimes acquires. I've literally kept sealed cans of coffee for two years and they tasted terrific and fresh when I opened them.
Now on to the Maxwell House deals. First up, Amazon has got this 11.5 oz. can of Maxwell House Original Roast Ground Coffee priced at $3.98 with a 20% off coupon, but if you get it through Subscribe & Save, you can stack that coupon with either the 15% off or a 5% off Subscribe & Save discount to get between 20% and 35% off the original price. You can snag that 11.5 oz. can for as low as $2.58 shipped!
So first, "clip" the 20% off coupon. That's 20% off the pre-discount price of $3.98, so you'll get a flat discount of $0.80, no matter what you end up paying.
Then, here's how the Subscribe & Save pricing works out:
- $3.38 -$0.80 coupon = $2.58 (22 cents per oz.) with the Subscribe & Save 15% discount (if you can take delivery of 5 or more active subscriptions in one month) .
- $3.78 -$0.80 coupon = $2.98 (26 cents per oz.) with the standard Subscribe & Save 5% discount.
If you prefer instant coffee to ground coffee, there's a really nice deal available on this 3-count pack of Maxwell House Instant 8 oz. jars. It works with the same 20% off coupon and a Subscribe & Save deal.
So first, "clip" the 20% off coupon. That's 20% off the pre-discount price of $14.94, so you'll get a flat discount of $2.99, no matter what you end up paying.
Then, here's how the Subscribe & Save pricing works out:
Then, here's how the Subscribe & Save pricing works out:
- $12.70 -$2.99 coupon = $9.71 ($3.24 for each 8 oz. jar of instant) with the Subscribe & Save 15% discount (if you can take delivery of 5 or more active subscriptions in one month) .
- $14.19 -$2.99 coupon = $11.20 ($3.73 for each 8 oz. jar of instant) with the standard Subscribe & Save 5% discount.
Please keep in mind that you can use that 20% off coupon only once on one item, so you'll need to choose between buying the ground coffee and the instant coffee, because you can't use it on both.
The final Maxwell House deal in on the 18-count pack of the Maxwell House House Blend k-cups and it works with a completely different 25% off coupon and Subscribe & Save. My go-to price on k-cups is anything less than 50 cents per k-cup, though I can usually do way better than that on Amazon. This deal will get me to as low as 33 cents per k-cup, which is awesome.
So first, "clip" the 25% off coupon. That's 25% off the pre-discount price of $9.94, so you'll get a flat discount of $2.49, no matter what you end up paying.
Then, here's how the Subscribe & Save pricing works out:
Then, here's how the Subscribe & Save pricing works out:
- $8.45 -$2.49 coupon = $5.96 ($0.33 per k-cup) with the Subscribe & Save 15% discount (if you can take delivery of 5 or more active subscriptions in one month) .
- $9.44 -$2.49 coupon = $6.95 ($0.39 per k-cup) with the standard Subscribe & Save 5% discount.
