Kosher-keeping Daily Cheapskate readers, be aware that most Gevalia ground and whole bean coffee is certified kosher by OK Kosher. (The k-cups are NOT under hashgacha.) Some varieties are kosher for Passover as well. The most updated list is found on the OK Kosher website, here, so please doublecheck your order against the list and then when the coffee arrives, make sure it comes with a hechsher symbol
I actually think that it's brilliant to buy coffee for Pesach NOW. Keep it unopened and store it in your freezer...I've had coffee stay fresh in my freezer for up to two years. Off-season buying is one of the smartest ways to save money, and this is a great deal for Passover coffee.
