Great deals on Prime Pantry and a FANTASTIC DEAL ON TIDE DETERGENT

Prime Pantry is a program that Amazon added to its Prime membership about a year or so ago.   In a nutshell, Amazon Prime members get to add up to 45 lbs. worth of household, food, personal and beauty items to a Prime Pantry box, and it gets delivered to your house for $5.99.  The advantage of the Prime Pantry program over, say, Amazon's Subscribe & Save is that 1) you don't need to buy in bulk quantities, and 2) some of the items are very well-priced.  But that $5.99 shipping fee....

Well.

Amazon is running this promotion:  buy 4 Prime Pantry items from this selection, enter promo code PANTRYDEC at checkout and the Prime Pantry $5.99 shipping fee is waived.

So I scavenged through this selection and came up with my four shipping-fee-killer items:

• Lysol Clean & Fresh Multi-Surface Cleaner, Sparkling Lemon and Sunflower Essence, 40 fl. oz., $2.39 - 25% coupon = $1.79
• Finish Powerball Tabs Dishwasher Detergent Tablets, Fresh Scent, 32 Count, $5.39 - 25% coupon = $4.04 (just under 13 cents per tablet)

My fabulous, fabulous find is on this Tide Plus Bleach, HE Turbo Clean Liquid Laundry Detergent, 46 fl oz., 24 loads (pack of 2) for $6.29 - $2.00 coupon = $4.29 or $2.15 per 46 oz. bottle of Tide.  This is an AWESOME price on Tide detergent.  Frankly, it's a great price even without the coupon ($3.15 per bottle), so I ordered four of these 2-packs, even though the coupon can only be applied once.

I also had a $5.99 credit in my account, from ordering from Amazon and waiving 2-day shipping during Black Friday week. So I did pretty well. The Lysol 40 oz. bottle, the 32-count Finish Powerball box, the 48-count Stayfree Supers, 12-count Scott bathroom tissue, and 8 Tide 46 oz. bottles for $43.88 - $3.95 in coupons - $5.99 credit = $33.94 with free shipping. Crazyawesome price and a great Prime Pantry deal.
