Amazon is having a HUGE promotion: Buy-3-Get-1-Free on Back to School Essentials, including, but not limited to school supplies. The bargains abound.

Keep in mind that the promotion applies only to items sold and shipped by Amazon, so it might be helpful to check off "Prime Eligible" under the "Refine by" column over at the extreme left. You may use this promotion over and over; just make sure you add items in increments of 4 and double-check your cart to see that every 4th item price is deducted from the total.
This best-selling 8-pack of Paper Mate InkJoy 300 RT Retractable Medium Point Ballpoint Pens in assorted colors is priced at $2.78 with free Prime/SuperSaver shipping ($0.35 per pen), but if you add 4 to your cart, your total will be $8.34 for 32 retractable pens, or $0.26 per pen.
