I think it's important to get a book that you will want/need/read, but I also like the idea of maxing out the benefit of the discount to the full $10, so I would aim for a book that costs $40.00 or more.  Make sure it's a book sold by Amazon (you can filter for it by checking off Prime shipping in the options on the left side).
