If you've got an American Express card, log in to your account and check your "Amex Offers and Benefits" section at the bottom of your screen. You might (or might not) see an offer for a $45 statement credit when you spend $45 or more on a Sam's Club membership using that American Express card.
Considering that a Sam's Club membership is priced at $45, this is basically a FREE membership.
Keep in mind, this applies to memberships purchased IN-STORE ONLY, NOT ONLINE or via phone. Not valid on renewals, upgrades, add-ons, or gift memberships. You must use this offer by 9/30/16 to get the statement credit.
