Over the years, I have figured out how to shop for beautiful, trendy, pricey designer jewelry for highly discounted prices. One of my favorite ways of stocking my jewelry box is raiding the higher-end department stores' sale sections. When it comes to fashion/costume jewelry, it's all about the style and the look, rather than the materials (gold, gems, etc.) and stores like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Bloomingdale's definitely stock the trendiest, most stylish designer jewelry. And when they need to clear out their stock, they run excellent sales. And that's when I pounce.
NOW, THE FINDS
FIRST, THE BASICS (If you've prefer, you can just skip down to the finds below.) Let's start with Nordstrom. One of Nordstom's best shopping features is their evergreen free shipping and free returns policy. It makes shopping there almost risk-free, because Nordstrom will always pick up the cost of return shipping. To shop Nordstrom's best jewelry sales, go to Nordstrom's sale section and drill down into the handbags/jewelry/accessories section and then sort from lowest-price-to-highest. Onward to Neiman Marcus Last Call, which is the Neiman "markdown" store. One of the great things about Neiman Marcus Last Call is their free 2-day Shoprunner shipping (Don't have Shoprunner? Find out how to open a FREE Shoprunner account over here.). To shop Neiman's best jewelry sales, go to their jewelry section and sort from low-prices-to-high. And now finally, my beloved Bloomingdale's.Bloomingdale's offers free year-round shipping with no minimum to their Loyalist rewards members and it is is free to join the Loyalist program, so make sure you do. They also offer free returns. To shop Bloomingdale's best jewelry sales, go to their jewelry section and sort from low-prices-to-high. |
