If you've ever had any interaction with Magazines.com, even if it was just to sign up on their website, you know that they will sporadically email a $5 gift card code to you. This code is great if you actually want to buy magazines from them, but what if you don't? Does it have to go to waste?
If you log in to their site, and then go to magazines.com/cash, and scroll to the bottom of the page, they will give you the option of turning that $5 gift card into pure cash. Just fill out the form with your name and address, and enter the gift card code, and in a few weeks, you will get a check made out to you for $5. (I'm on my fourth check, so this is for real.)
