Get 100 Kickbuck points when you sign up for Shopkick, this week only, until 9/10/11

Heads up, Smartphone users!  Shopkick is running another bonus promo where they will reward new users with 100 kickbucks point when you sign up with a special code by 9/10/11. What is Shopkick? Basically, it's a smartphone app that rewards shoppers with "kickbucks" (points which can be redeemed for store gift cards) simply for walking into a brick & mortar store. Sounds pretty un-techy, you say, for this day and age?  Not at all. How does Shopkick know you are actually in the store?  Because you "check in" via the smartphone application that locates you via GPS.  Shopkick also gives you points for scanning items in-store.  The points accumulate very quickly (I'm on my second Target gift card).  Shopkick also has some unique digital coupons (that I haven't seen anywhere else) that you just show to the cashier and ask her to scan when you purchase something in a Shopkick member store.

Shopkick is running a membership promotion for the next three days.  Normally, you can get 50 Kickbucks when you enter the promo code raspberry1824 immediately after downloading the app, but this week only, until 9/10/11, Shopkick is awarding 100 bonus Kickbucks to anyone who downloads the app and enters the promo code.  Here's how you get the bonus: 

1. Download the app for Iphone here and the app for Android here (both free).
2. Right after you have downloaded the app, go to the ME tab (your profile...it'll be your first name) and tap on the "Got a promo code?" icon in My Stuff. Enter raspberry1824 on the next screen and your 100 kickbucks will be automatically credited (if not, restart the app and you should see the credit). 
3. The promo code icon only lasts about 24 hours after signup, so snag your 100 points right away!  Remember, kickbucks can be redeemed for store gift cards (I really <3 gift cards), and redemption amounts start as low as 500 kickbucks (for a Best Buy g.c.).
